Morning 1 Timothy 2:5
Noon Psalms 57
Evening Philippians 4:6
Asking our brethren to pray for us is not wrong. What is wrong is asking them to pray and then not praying ourselves. God desires a personal relationship with you, direct communication between you and Him. No one is able to convey your longings, your needs, and your problems better than you. For others, your request is just one of many; for you, it is of utmost priority. Only you can present your situation to God in depth and with great detail. Your brethren will be unable to do so no matter how much they know or try to understand what you are going through because your experiences are unique and personal. Seek a relationship with the Holy One; understand that the plea of your heart from your lips is precious to Him. Does this mean we should stop praying for our brethren? Absolutely not! It also does not mean that we should focus our prayers only on ourselves. The goal is to establish an intimate relationship, a deeper bond and closeness to God that can never be achieved through a middle man.
Our relationship with God is personal—it does not require a middle man.

Morning 1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Noon Psalms 57
1 Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.
2 I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.
3 He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.
4 My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.
5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.
6 They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit before me, into the midst whereof they are fallen themselves. Selah.
7 My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.
8 Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
9 I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations.
10 For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds.
11 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth.
Evening Philippians 4:6
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
