Devotional for Wednesday June 15, 2022
The zeal, the passionate care towards his own, is one of the qualities that make me love God the most. Faithful to his Word, he has left us the comforter who dwells in us and rejoices in moments of joy, in those precious moments in which, guided by his mercy, we manage to glorify him with our actions. It is also his Holy Spirit who warns us, and when I discover my error, I feel that he has cried first.
Over time, you learn to walk in silence, you begin to perceive the signs, listen to his voice, while you delve into the mysteries and enjoy being in his company. You will not be free from mistakes, but your faithful companion will show you the way back.
In good times, you will be able to shine with the light that emanates from the Lord, so that the wicked around you will be disturbed while the Comforter will joy with you. In the difficult moment, when as a result of the error you hear the alarm signals, when the world around you offers justifications, you will also find him by your side and it will be enough to obey his voice to be back.

Morning Proverbs 14:8
The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit.
Noon Psalm 68:1-10
1 Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.
2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
3 But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.
4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.
5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
6 God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
7 O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah:
8 The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9 Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.
10 Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.
Evening John 14:15-18
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

This month's challenge is: Think before you judge or act. Ask yourself at all times: how would I want to be treated if I were in that condition? Always remember Jesus' advice: “Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. Judge not, and you will not be judged: condemn not, and you will not be condemned: forgive, and you will be forgiven." Luke 6:36,37
