Morning Romans 12:11
Noon Psalm 19
Evening Matthew 26:39
The apostle Paul declared himself a servant of Jesus Christ, he does not have his life as his own, but must give it to his Lord so that He may be his owner. If we are lords and masters of ourselves, it will be difficult for us to become the one who brings the good news of Jesus Christ, because we have no other lord than our humanity and we prefer to do our will. The Word teaches us that it is not possible to serve two masters. Being a slave, we must consult our Lord about everything. A slave does not make his own decisions, nor does he do what “seems good to him”, perhaps that is our way of serving, but unfortunately, we are not servants of Jesus Christ, we are servants of ourselves. In the laws of Exodus 21, we find an unequivocal sense of consecration: Being able to choose freedom, the slave preferred to serve his master for life. Lord, I don't want to go free, I want to stay with you, freedom is being by your side and serving you. I don't want to do what I want but to do what You want me to do. Thus, with the pierced ear I will bear the visible seal that I am your servant for eternity. This question is about your identity with Christ: are you a servant or are you Lord?

Morning Romans 12:11
Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
Noon Psalm 19
1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
Evening Matthew 26:39
And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

The Challange for the Month: Search for scriptures that describe God's character, and then take time to do a Bible study to reflect on how you can apply those characteristics in your own life. Remember that you are an ambassador of God who should strive to represent him in a worthy manner. Find out what are the requirements God has for those who are citizens of HIS kingdom. Apply those requirements in your life and pray daily for these things.
