Morning Psalm 33:20 Noon Psalm 85
Evening Psalm118:8
Today, I confess that I need you. I need you more than yesterday because now my burdens, fears, and responsibilities are greater. Today, there are more serious things at stake. Each end of the spectrum is important to me. On one side: my dreams. On the other: your commandments. Help me Lord! Don't let me decide out of fear.
Help me recognize your will, and help me want it for my life. God, it is so difficult for man to walk alone on this path, please join me on this walk. Extend Your hands, give me Your strength, become my friend. Bless me in everything, and if that gets out of hand, if I start to divert from the path, then remind me how I have not been able on my own. Father, all your children need you. Peter said it well, “Lord, to whom will we go?” Only in You are the words, the way, the light, and eternal life. My God, bring Your blessing to me, put me on Your path so that I may live in peace and confidence. Even though I know it and embrace it, I can never stop telling You: I need You Lord.
Even in Glory, Eternal Father, I'll have to recognize that I need you still.

Morning Psalm 33:20
Our soul waiteth for the LORD:
He is our help and our shield.
Noon Psalm 85
LORD, thou hast been favourable unto thy land:
Thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
2Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people,
Thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.
3Thou hast taken away all thy wrath:
Thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.
4Turn us, O God of our salvation,
And cause thine anger toward us to cease.
5Wilt thou be angry with us for ever?
Wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?
6Wilt thou not revive us again:
That thy people may rejoice in thee?
7Shew us thy mercy, O LORD,
And grant us thy salvation.
8I will hear what God the LORD will speak:
For he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: But let them not turn again to folly.
9Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him;
That glory may dwell in our land.
10Mercy and truth are met together;
Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11Truth shall spring out of the earth;
And righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good;
And our land shall yield her increase.
13Righteousness shall go before him;
And shall set us in the way of his steps.
Evening Psalm 118:8
It is better to trust in the LORD
Than to put confidence in man.
