Morning John 8:31, 32

Noon Psalms 5

Evening Romans 6:17,18

Among the believers, the concept of freedom is confused with disorderly practices that have nothing to do with the will of God, that is rather debauchery. At the dawn of history, God spoke to Cain saying: "...

sin is at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.” Man could always have resisted evil, but the tendency of his heart opened such a gap to sin that he took control of the situation, making us slaves to sin. Then Jesus came and made us free and now sin cannot rule over us, because the great King fights for us. With Jesus we no longer walk like sheep that have no shepherd, for He guides us into all truth and leads us along the paths of justice. He is the bread that sustains us and satisfies our hunger. He is the water of life that quenches our thirst and makes us spring up into eternal life. He is the door through which we enter salvation and the shining star that illuminates us with its light.

With Jesus, true freedom is enjoyed and lived.

Morning John 8:31, 32

31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.

32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Noon Psalms 5

1 Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.

2 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.

3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

7 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

8 Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

10 Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.

11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

Evening Romans 6:17,18

17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
