Devotional for Tuesday May 31, 2022
Thinking of you, I put stars in the sky. I created the animals, the fish, the plants, the charm of flowers, and the song of the nightingale. I put you in a beautiful orchard sharing my love. One day, evil entered Eden, so I had to get you out of there, and I cursed the earth thinking of you. Later, I decided to destroy you with a flood, but for a holy man I let you live and I designed my rainbow in the clouds, thinking of you. One day, you went very far away from Me; Although I called you couldn’t hear; then, thinking of you, I became a man and while dying on the cross, with open arms, I was asking you to come to Me. I had to go and in order not to leave you alone, I sent the Comforter so that, with his eternal strength, at the end of your days, you could come to Me.
Meanwhile, look at me! I have multiplied myself! I am by your side in the needy, prisoner, sick person, in each brother, in the smile of a child and the wisdom of an old man and, thinking of you, I have prepared a celebration in a place that the human mind can never imagine. I want you to be by my side! Because I love you, Jesus.

Morning 1 Peter 1:17-21
17 And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear;
18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers,
19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you
21 who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
Noon Psalm 30
1 I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
2 O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
3 O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
6 And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.
7 LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
8 I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.
9 What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?
10 Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.
11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
Evening Philippians 4:8
For the rest, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever modest, whatsoever just, whatsoever holy, whatsoever lovely, whatsoever of good fame, if there be any virtue, if any praise of discipline, think on these things.
Prayer Guide: [Cuba-Santa Clara] and [Cuba-Jovellanos]
This month's challenge is: Identify each character virtue of Christ and incorporate it into your own character. Spend more time with the people you love. Evaluate daily if your behavior resembles that of Jesus. Constantly ask yourself before making a decision or doing anything, what would Christ have done in my place? Study more deeply the life of Christ and ask God to help you be a better Christian.
